Frequently Asked QuestionsWho attends Brain Gym® and Touch for Health classes?Class participants are from a variety of learning styles and life experiences including educators, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, parents of children with learning challenges, individuals with learning challenges, nurses, psychologists, chiropractors, performers, people working on relationship issues, and more. For more information about these courses go to course descriptions. Are Continuing Education Units (CEU’s)/Professional Development Points (PDP’s) available? Currently CEU’s are available for Touch For Health through the Touch For Health Association for body workers, aerobics instructors and physical trainers and contact hours for nurses. PDP’s (in Massachusetts) are available for educators. Who comes to a private session? •Bonnie sees both children and adults. The children may have learning challenges which might include focus and organizational difficulties, working below grade level, reading and writing issues, low self-esteem, school phobia, poor coordination, performance anxiety, and more. •Adults may be interested in working on similar issues as children and also include making life changes, decision-making, focus and organizational issues, anxiety, high stress, low self-esteem, relationship challenges and more. •Children and adults with allergies with whom Bonnie uses Applied Resonance Therapy (ART). What should I expect in a private session? Each session is co-creative depending upon the needs of the individual. Bonnie typically uses muscle checking to ascertain the course of action for the session. Sessions are movement based, drawing on Brain Gym®, Touch for Health and other forms of specialized kinesiology and tune into each person’s innate body wisdom. The goal of each sessions is to empower the individual to leave with new tools for change in his/her life. Each session offers the opportunity for new learning. The seeds for change are planted within the framework of the client-generated goal. Results vary from immediate and dramatic to subtle with slow integration into daily life. Sessions for children are one hour in length. Sessions for adults run from one to two hours in length. The fee is $90 per hour. The Kinesiology Connection accepts MasterCard and Visa but is not affiliated with any medical insurance plans. |
