Learning is a whole body event! Discover why this is so and learn exercises you can use immediately to reduce stress and open new paths to learning. This introduction also covers the key Brain Gym® concepts.

~Brain Gym® in New England: A Gathering of New and Experienced Brain Gym Enthusiasts

Come join us for the day of learning, moving and exploring the benefits of Brain Gym. If you are new to Brain Gym, this is a wonderful FREE opportunity to try out some Brain Gym activities and learn some basics. For those who have already ventured into the Brain Gym world, come expand your creativity, explore the new manual, share and learn how others are using this program successfully.
9am-noon prerequisite Brain Gym 101. 1pm-4pm open to all.

Parents and children: would you like to have an easy transition into the school year? Come learn Brain Gym® activities that are fun, energizing and easy to do. These great tools can help you be ready for a stress-free entry into the school year.

~High Test Performance: tools to rid test-taking jitters!

High schoolers and college students: does just thinking about taking a test make your heart pound and your throat tighten up? Are you able to access the information that you know? Are SAT's and MCAS getting you down? Change your test-taking experience from feelings of anxiety to that of self-confidence using simple Brain Gym® techniques.

Bonnie has presented Brain Gym® Introductions throughout New England to rave reviews. A Brain® Introduction, which is experiential in nature, provides participants with tools for their immediate use. Call her for information on personalizing an introduction for your organization or business.

~Brain Gym® 101: The Empowered Learner is a learning readiness program which uses simple integrative movements to enhance learning abilities in children and adults. This program is developed by Paul Dennison, Ph.D., an expert in child motor development. It is based upon 80 years of research by educational therapists, developmental optometrists, and other developmental specialists. It promotes efficient communication between the brain and the body, eliminates stress in learning, and increases creativity.

The fundamentals of Brain Gym® are offered in this 24 hour course.

  • Learn 26 exercises which stimulate the brain and body to peak performance
  • Change stress in learning to enjoyment and creativity.
  • Empower yourself and your students to meet any new learning challenge with confidence.

This course is recommended for educators, parents and all those wishing to increase their learning potential. It provides essential information to those who wish to effectively assist students with labeled behavioral or learning difficulties.

~The Brain Gym® Teacher Practicum provides the skills to support the emergence of the authentic teacher in each participant. This is the course towards licensure to become a Brain Gym® Instructor/Consultant. The Teacher Practicum is a thorough training for successful facilitation and is highly transformational on the personal level. You will gain a deeper understanding of Educational Kinesiology and broaden your base and your use of Brain Gym®, both personally and professionally.

~Business in Balance™: Creating and Maintaining a Wealth-Healthy Brain Gym Business (32 hours)

~The Edu-K In Depth: The Seven Dimensions of Learning,
with Colleen Carroll Gardner, Instructor.

During these 4 days of fun and personal transformation you’ll explore integrated brain-body learning. You’ll apply the Edu-K In Depth process to your own life and rediscover the joy, ease and wholeness of learning. Exciting, innovative techniques, lucid, enjoyable demonstrations, lots of guided practice time and a relaxed atmosphere offer you a unique experience you can apply directly to your personal and professional life.

~Movement Re-Education (24 Hours)

This three-day workshop focuses specifically on the Structure Realm in the Edu-K process. This experience is an opportunity for exploration, review, and hands-on-practice of muscle lengthening techniques. Participants learn the relationship of emotions, vision, and posture to brain integration. Included are the latest releases and activations, which help to complete postural and structural changes.

~Prerequisite: Brain Gym Teacher Practicum.


~Movement Dynamics, Sue Stepick, Instructor

Enjoy gentle yet energizing sequences from Brain Gym®, Vision®, and other Edu-K menus, set to integrated music. Learn thirty new movements that help develop and refine your neurointelligence as well as your skills of coordination and flexibility. Feel the joy of movement as you relax your visual system. Participants explore Laterality, Centering and Focus Dimensions in terms of their unique dynamics of movement. The movement flows are adaptable for all ages and abilities. In addition to dance flows, the course includes six action balances. Wear comfortable clothing and socks.

~Optimal Brain Organization (formerly Brain Organization Profiles, Sue Stepick, Instructor, gives you an opportunity to explore Paul Dennison's latest concepts on the Dynamic Brain and the three dimensions of the brain/body system. Optimal Brain Organization builds on the Brain Gym® 101 course, providing additional movement activities and noticing techniques. The course offers four new action balances that help to integrate all the sensory channels for improved performance and ease of learning. Special attention will be given to questions about the classroom environment.

~Touch for Health (levels I - IV) is based on the innovative wellness system known as Applied Kinesiology - a brilliant synthesis of Chinese medicine and non-invasive techniques developed by American medical doctors, osteopaths and chiropractors. Touch for Health makes Applied Kinesiology available to lay persons and has been effectively used by nurses, massage therapists, body workers, nutritionists, athletes, dancers and others to enhance their practices.

~Visioncircles, with Sue Stepick, offers us an opportunity to discover the incredible world which awaits us as we open to our full sensory awareness. The 24-hour course is an exploration of eight areas, or circles, of perceptual intelligence. Taken together, the circles help us to access and develop active vision. The course offers a developmental framework for understanding the acquisition of visual skills.

~Practice Evenings

If you have taken kinesiology classes, practice evenings are a wonderful way to increase your balancing skills and confidence, and to share your experience and expertise with others. Feel free to bring a friend or family member along to practice balancing.

~Bal-A-Vis-X and Movement Based Learning
created by Bill Hubert and taught by Candi Cosgrove, is a series of exercises which are deeply rooted in rhythm. They require full body coordination and focused attention utilizing sand bags, balance boards and racquetballs. Come and experience this remarkable program!

~Integration of Dynamic and Postural Reflexes
, as created by Dr. Svetlana Musgatova and taught by Pamela Curlee.
Come to this fabulous four-day course exploring dynamic and postural reflexes and how they influence development and learning. This class provides an explanation of reflexes according to the three dimensions of Laterality, Centering and Focus. Participants will learn techniques for checking reflex integration and simple, joyful movements for integrating them into the whole body movement system.
